Faouzi Bayoud, Founder

Faouzi Bayoud

Founder - President

Faouzi Bayoud, a native of Lebanon, saw his father involved in the development and construction of the first power plant and hotel in the UAE. As a result, Faouzi learned early on how to get things done. From age 4 to 18, he attended military boarding school in England and then attended the University of North Texas where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Marketing and Finance.

After graduation, he founded Transcontinental Marketing, Inc. (TMI) which became the sole distributor of Smith Corona products in the Middle East region. Due to political upheaval in the surrounding region, he later sold those distribution rights to a firm that focused on the UAE.

Faouzi then entered the hotel and hospitality industry. He spent several years as a Special Projects Operator with Mossimo's and later with TGI Fridays. Then came his venture into the modular industry.

He began with Oakwood Homes in 1998, moving from sales to general manager, and finally to district manager. In 2001, he founded Nash Construction (named for his daughter) and, in the midst of the post-9/11 turmoil, expanded it from 8 employees to 49 in just two years, eventually specializing in modular military building contracts. And in 2012, he brought his trademark can-do spirit launched Ellis Modular (named for his son), with a focus on the retail aspect of modular job site workforce housing.
