Manufacturing

Ellis Modular BuildingsTo fully appreciate Ellis' commitment to satisfying your modular needs, we need to start by defining a modular living facility. This is a unit constructed in a factory, away from your job site or property, in a controlled environment and then delivered to your job site where it is assembled with other elements of the on-site community. Modular units are built to IBC Code building standards – the same as 100% site-built structures. The construction of a modular building component is approximately 85% completed at the factory.

Once the units are delivered to your job site, the Ellis deployment team will erect your facilities as specified by the community site plan. The Ellis team will then complete the approximate remaining 15% of the construction and finish-out on site. This may also include all site work, including garages, porches, driveways, sidewalks, water and septic, yard areas, etc. Ellis recognizes that each project presents its own unique challenges. As a result, some job sites and facilities will require more or less on-site finish-out work than others, depending on location, scope, number of personnel, and so forth.
